Sandra Horrocks grew up in Michigan and then lived in New Jersey,  England, and Colorado. She began learning photography while in New Jersey but walked away from it for several years. She became  more serious at the end of her stay in England learning that her passion lay in the natural world. She has been able to study with several nationally known photographers who specialized in nature and landscape photography and has participated in and won awards for shows in Colorado, Montana, and Kansas. She is represented by BV Art and Photo in Buena Vista and Coyote Creek Arts in Fairplay. Sandra is a member of Chaffee Arts and a former  board member who joined with the desire to assist in providing more opportunities for all artists in our region.
